It is now two weeks since my discharge, following five nights at the hospital section, of Droitwich Knee Clinic.

I am delighted with the results of the operation & the care shown by all members of staff.

I have had a number of successful surgical operations in the past, both N.H.S. & Private. In this case I had allowed a knee injury to worsen & become Arthritic – Lesson learnt. !!

The Droitwich Knee Clinic was my first choice, & my Doctor arranged for me to see Mr. K. Moholkar. All aspects of the operation, & follow up procedures were fully explained. A detailed booklet was provided, which I still refer to daily.

The operation was arranged ten days later & I put myself in positive mode, re the new knee & getting back to normal. At 68 (going on 48) it is vital for me to remove inconvenient aches & pains.

We were met by the Clinic Nurse, shown to my room, met staff & my anaesthetist. The operation took place three hours after arrival. Physiotherapist team arrived 24 hours later & had me walking with sticks, on the flat & then on to stairs over the next 4 days.

I have followed advice to the full & feel most positive towards playing golf again- hopefully in 3 months time.
