The Truth and Myth’s of Anterior Knee Pain

As experts in the field, the clinical team at Droitwich Knee Clinic run regular educational evenings, based on current evidence and personal experience. The most recent event focused upon anterior knee pain and attempted to discuss the truth and myths behind the subject. It was sponsored by Spire Healthcare and held at St Andrews Town Hotel in Droitwich.

DKC consultants, Mohi El-Shazly and Kirti Moholkar, presented findings on the particular topic and then led a lively interactive discussion with the audience, allowing shared experiences to be openly exchanged.

In addition the presentation covered the area of knee cap mal-tracking which the surgeons at the clinic feel is often overlooked or neglected. A video of a recent patient treated at the clinic was shown and helped illustrate a subject area DKC have a strong interest and expertise in.

The free informative evenings will continue to run as part of The Knee Foundation educational programme for 2015. The Knee Foundation is a charitable educational trust, which the Droitwich Knee Clinic supports, intended to provide a unique international learning resource centre. In addition to providing a fellowship programme for young doctors, the Foundation offers a number of academic courses and educational sessions to help educate professionals and patients themselves.
