 Unfortunately, due to the workload with Rod Jaque's responsibilities in the run up to the London Olympian Games in 2012, and as the National Medical Director to the English Institute of Sport as well as Vice President of the Faculty for Sports and Exercise Medicine, he is now finding it difficult to hold regular clinics in Droitwich.  The Knee Clinic will continue to refer its patients to him at the Winfield Hospital in Gloucester.

Dr Jaques trained at the Royal London Hospital completing a Diploma course in Sports Medicine qualifying with distinction and the David Ritchie prize in 1990. He also obtained the society of Apothecaries Diploma in Sports Medicine. In 1989 he became Medical Advisor to the British Triathlon Association. In 1996 he accompanied the GB Olympic Team to the Centennial Games in Atlanta and worked in the team Headquarters as medical officer. In 1998 he went with the England Commonwealth Games team to Malaysia for the Commonwealth Games. In 2000 he went with the GB triathlon team to the Sydney Olympics and again the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002. He has been involved in Sports Medicine for over 15 years and is a Director at the English Institute of Sport South West Region at Bath University. He also runs a sports injuries Clinic at the Winfield Hospital in Gloucester and works part time at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. He has been full time in Sports Medicine since 2001. His special interests include overuse injuries, knee and ankle rehabilitation and Sports injuries.
