Mr El-Shazly qualified in 1978. In 1995 he worked as a Knee Foundation Knee Fellow at Droitwich Knee Clinic and a year later became a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. Mr El-Shazly's special interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee, patellofemoral problems (anterior knee pain) and cartilage defects in young adults, adult lower limb reconstruction including malunions, deformity corrections, nonunions, osteomyelitis and other infections. He now works on a full time basis at Droitwich Knee Clinic and is a member of the Knee Foundation's Clinical Advisory Board.

Mr Oliver Schindler joined the team at the Droitwich Knee Clinic in 2001. He qualified in Switzerland in 1991 and underwent basic surgical training in Munich and Berne. In 1994 he commenced his orthopaedic specialist training, working in a number of leading orthopaedic centres including the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. He moved to the Frenchay Hospital Bristol in 1997 where he completed his training and obtained the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

In 2001, he spent six months as clinical research fellow in knee surgery in Australia, where he worked closely with Peter Myers, President of the Australian Knee Society. In 2002 he was awarded the Ilizarov Fellowship in Russia and in 2006 he represented the British Orthopaedic Association as their ASG Travelling Fellow in Europe. The American Knee Society has elected him for this years Insall Travelling Fellowship, during which he will be visiting a number of renowned knee specialist units in North America. The Knee Society has also invited him to present his research experience at the Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in San Francisco in 2008.

Mr Robinson qualified from Cambridge and London and trained in Orthopaedics at Oswestry. He initially attended the Drotiwich Knee Clinic as a Knee Foundation Knee Fellow and has since become a Consultant at the Clinic. He works part-time in the private sector and continues his NHS work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Worcester Royal Infirmary. He has a special interest in arthroscopic assessment and treatment of the Knee and Shoulder Joints.

After training on the North Western & West Midlands Specialist Registrar training programme, Mr. Moholkar took up the post of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in December 2004. He has completed a fellowship from the United States of America and a Sports Fellowship from Australia . He has a broad base of various aspects of Knee and Shoulder surgery (Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty) and a special interest in Total, Unicompartmental & Patello-Femoral Knee Replacement using Computer Assisted Minimally invasive approach.

Dr Jaques trained at the Royal London Hospital completing a Diploma course in Sports Medicine qualifying with distinction and the David Ritchie prize in 1990. He also obtained the society of Apothecaries Diploma in Sports Medicine. In 1989 he became Medical Advisor to the British Triathlon Association. In 1996 he accompanied the GB Olympic Team to the Centennial Games in Atlanta and worked in the team Headquarters as medical officer. In 1998 he went with the England Commonwealth Games team to Malaysia for the Commonwealth Games. In 2000 he went with the GB triathlon team to the Sydney Olympics and again the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002. He has been involved in Sports Medicine for the last 14 years and is a Director at the English Institute of Sport South West Region at Bath University. He also runs a sports injuries Clinic at the Winfield Hospital in Gloucester and works part time at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. He has been full time in Sports Medicine since 2001. His special interests include overuse injuries, knee and ankle rehabilitation and Sports injuries.

Jim Qualified at Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1968 and progressed through the NHS to reach the position of Deputy Superintendent at the Royal Hospital, Wolverhampton. Working for a number of years as the Physiotherapist to Birmingham City Football Club and then Aston Villa Football Club, Jim is the founder member of the Physiotherapy team having been with the Clinic since its formation in 1988

Lesley qualified at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham in 1976 and is one of the Clinic's founder physiotherapists, joining the team in 1988. Lesley has developed an interest in all aspects of knee injury, particularly rehabilitation following ligament reconstruction. Lesley has recently become a Trustee of The Knee Foundation.
